  Every year, hospital facilities spend an estimated $26.8 billion dollars treating hospital acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) and their related complications. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid consider HAPIs to be "never events" and in 2008 eliminated reimbursement for costs associated with them. Ophthalmic Cradle Headrest

This particular headrest is very useful for a variety of specialties and especially for older patients as they have difficulty putting their head in a comfortable position. Part of the cradle fits under the neck and provides a cushion so that they do not need to hyperextend their head.
